Learning Beyond Classrooms, Empowering Rural Futures
At SFORD Academy, education goes far beyond textbooks and classrooms. Our Informal Education initiatives are designed to guide, inspire, and empower rural youth through career awareness, higher education support, practical exposure, and community-based learning experiences. We believe that every child and young learner deserves opportunities to grow with confidence, knowledge, and purpose.
Through counseling sessions, mentorship programs, and educational support, SFORD helps rural students explore higher education opportunities and build brighter futures. We encourage students to pursue their dreams by providing academic guidance, motivational support, and assistance for continuing studies through recognized institutions and open learning platforms.
Career Guidance & Higher Education Support
Many rural students face challenges due to limited awareness about educational and career opportunities. SFORD regularly conducts counseling and awareness sessions to motivate youth toward higher studies and skill development.
The organization also provides academic and financial assistance to deserving students so they can continue their education without barriers.
Over the years, several rural youth have benefited through enrollment in institutions such as National Open School and Kota Open University, helping them continue their educational journey with confidence.
Internship Program
Practical Exposure for Future Changemakers
SFORD’s Internship Program provides students and young professionals with valuable exposure to rural development, social work, education, and community engagement. Through hands-on learning experiences, interns gain practical understanding while contributing meaningfully to social initiatives and grassroots development projects.
Students from reputed institutions and universities have participated in internship and project-based learning programs at SFORD, creating an environment of collaboration, innovation, and mutual learning.
Institutional Visits & Cultural Exchange
Building Connections Through Shared Learning
SFORD warmly welcomes educational institutions, universities, and organizations for institutional visits and cultural exchange programs. These visits provide students and faculty members an opportunity to interact with rural communities, understand grassroots realities, and exchange ideas with the SFORD team and students.
The experience helps promote social awareness, cultural understanding, leadership, and community participation among visiting students. Over the years, hundreds of students and faculty members from various institutions have visited the SFORD campus to learn, engage, and contribute through interactive sessions and educational activities.
Through these initiatives, SFORD continues to create a learning ecosystem that nurtures awareness, compassion, practical knowledge, and lifelong learning beyond traditional education.
